Not sure which size to pick? No problem — just place your order with the size you think fits best. Then send us your height, chest and waist measurements (plus hip for shorts and pants) via the order message or email to fanservice2026@outlook.com, and our team will double-check your size before shipping. If a different size fits you better, we'll send that one instead — you get the size that actually fits, not the one you guessed.

01How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape — if you don't have one, wrap a piece of string around the point, mark it, then measure the string against a ruler.

1. Chest — most important

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.

3. Hip — for shorts & pants

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, with your feet together. This is the key number for bottoms.

4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

5. Sleeve

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets (NFL, MLB, NHL): measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

6. Inseam — for pants

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg. This determines pant length.

Golden rule: your chest measurement is the number that matters most for jerseys, jackets and hoodies; your waist and hip drive shorts and pants. Match them to the charts below — and if you're between two sizes, always size up.

02Fit by League

Not all jerseys are cut the same way. Before you pick a size, know how each league's jersey is designed to fit:

League	Fit Type	How It Should Feel
Soccer	Athletic / slim	Close to the body; size up for a looser look
NBA	Standard / slightly long	Relaxed through the chest, longer hem
NFL	Roomy / boxy	Classic oversized game-day look
MLB	Full / button-front	Relaxed traditional baseball cut
NHL	Very loose	The loosest cut of all leagues — order your true size, no need to size up

All replica and fan-edition jerseys follow the league's traditional silhouette and match standard retail sizing.

03Quick Size Finder

Chest measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements. Prefer a looser fit? Choose the larger size whenever you're between two.

Youth NBA Jerseys

Youth NBA jerseys follow the same sizing as the general youth chart in Section 9 (S / M / L / XL by age and height).

06MLB Baseball Jerseys

Full / button-front fit

MLB jerseys are button-front with a relaxed traditional baseball cut — full through the chest and body, hem sits at the hip.

07NHL Hockey Jerseys

Very loose fit

Hockey jerseys are the roomiest cut in sports — wide through the chest and body with extra-long sleeves, designed to be worn over layers.

Order your true chest size; do not size up unless you want an extremely oversized fit.

Men's NHL Jerseys

Size	Chest (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (in)	Length (cm)	Sleeve (in)
S	40–43	102–109	30	76	24
M	43–46	109–117	31	79	25
L	46–49	117–124	32	81	26
XL	49–52	124–132	33	84	27
2XL	52–55	132–140	34	86	28
3XL	55–58	140–147	35	89	29

NHL jerseys naturally run 1–2 sizes roomier than soccer or NBA jerseys of the same label. A 40" chest wears an NHL S the way it wears a soccer L.

08Soccer Jerseys

Athletic / slim fit

Soccer jerseys are the slimmest, most tailored cut — designed to sit close to the body like the kits players wear. If you like a relaxed fit or plan to wear a layer underneath, size up one.

Youth Soccer Jerseys

Youth soccer jerseys follow the general youth chart in Section 9. Youth XL transitions naturally into a men's S.

09Youth, Toddler & Baby Sizes

This is the most complete kids' sizing reference on the page. Our youth sizes run unisex and are consistent across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and soccer jerseys, but the label on a listing can vary — Youth S, YthS, “Age 8–10”, a plain number like “10”, or a Boys tag.

Why do the size brackets look wide? Each kids' jersey is only stocked in a few sizes (S / M / L / XL, or YthXS–YthXL). So one size has to cover several ages — that's the catalog, not a measuring error. The fix is to pick by chest, not by age: measure to the inch and use the ladder below, and you'll land on the right one of the few sizes we carry. When two sizes both fit, take the larger for growth.

Measure the chest — it's more accurate than age

Chest — wrap the tape around the fullest part of the chest, just under the armpits, level. This single number decides the size.
Height — barefoot, heels together, head to floor.
Weight — a tie-breaker between two sizes.
Age — a rough guide only; a tall-for-age child usually needs the size above their age.

Children's sizes are body measurements, not garment measurements — a Youth M is cut to fit a body of that size, with a little ease. They are not an adult S/M/L shrunk down, so don't guess from an adult size.

Chest → size ladder (1-inch steps)

Measure the child's chest in inches and read across. Every band is 1″ wide — as fine as the stocked sizes allow:

Chest (in)	Chest (cm)	Recommended size	Typical age
22	56	Boys XS / Toddler 5/6T	4–5
23	58	Boys XS / 5/6T / YthXS	5
24	61	YthXS	5–6
25	64	YthXS / Youth S	6–7
26	66	Youth S	7–8
27	69	Youth S	8–9
28	71	Youth M	9–10
29	74	Youth M	10–11
30	76	Youth L	11–12
31	79	Youth L	12–13
32	81	Youth XL	13–14
33	84	Youth XL	14–15
34	86	Youth XL / Adult XS	15–16
35	89	Adult XS	16
36+	91+	Adult XS / S	16+

Height → size ladder (2-inch steps)

If you know the height but not the chest, use this ladder instead — jersey length follows height:

Height (in)	Height (cm)	Recommended size	Typical age
33–35	84–89	2T	2
36–38	91–97	3T	3
39–41	99–104	4T	4
42–45	107–114	5/6T / YthXS	5–6
46–49	117–124	YthXS / Youth S	6–7
50–53	127–135	Youth S	7–9
54–56	137–142	Youth M	9–10
57–59	145–150	Youth M / Youth L	10–12
60–62	152–157	Youth L	12–13
63–65	160–165	Youth XL	13–15
66+	168+	Adult XS / S	15+

Height decides the length of the jersey; chest decides the width. If the two ladders disagree (tall and slim, or short and broad), trust the chest ladder for the width and expect a longer or shorter body — or size for chest and accept a little extra length, which reads fine on a casual jersey.

Fine age chart — half-year steps to age 7, then yearly (ages 2–16)

The finest reference on this page. Kids grow fastest before 7, so those ages are broken into 6-month bands; from 7 on, one row per year. Find your child's exact age and read across:

The catalog labels, tightened

These are the size words that actually appear on listings. We've tightened the age ranges so each band is no more than ~2–3 years:

Label on listing	Ages	Chest (in)	Also seen as
YthXS	5–6	23–25	Boys XS (5/6)
Youth S	7–9	25–28	S (Age 8–10), YthS

Youth XL	14–15	33–35	XL (Age 13–15), YthXL
→ Adult	15–16+	35+	Adult XS / S

One size, many labels

Don't be thrown by the wording. The catalog writes kids' sizes at least five ways; they overlap. Here's how they map to the ladder above:

Kids numbered sizing (Size 8–18)

A few lines size children by number with a printed chest on the tag:

Tag	Equivalent	Chest (in)	Chest (cm)
Size 8	XS	30	76
Size 10	Small	32	81
Size 12	Medium	34	86.5
Size 14	Large	36	91.5
Size 16	XL	38	96.5
Size 18	XXL	40	101.5

Youth cuts by league — same as adult

The league silhouette carries down to kids: a youth soccer jersey is still the slimmest, a youth NHL jersey still the roomiest, NFL still boxy. Size by the chest ladder above; only shift if your child is between builds — a slim kid in soccer can take the size down, a broad-chested kid in NHL stays true.

Buying ahead & layering

Size up for growth. If you're between ages or gifting, take the next size. A little room reads as intentional and buys a season of wear.
Layer-ready. For winter wear over a hoodie, size up one in NFL/NHL youth; soccer and NBA are fine true-to-size under a light layer.
Don't over-size. More than one size up looks sloppy and the sleeves swallow small hands. One size is the safe maximum.

Kids sizing FAQ

Why is one size listed for several ages?

Because each jersey is only stocked in a few sizes (S/M/L/XL or YthXS–YthXL). A single size has to cover the ages in between. That's why we lead with chest measurement — measure to the inch and use the ladder, and you'll pick the right one precisely instead of guessing by age.

Do youth jerseys fit like the adult ones?

Yes — same league silhouette, just scaled down. A youth soccer jersey is still the slimmest; a youth NHL jersey still the roomiest. Size by chest using the ladder above.

What's the difference between YthS and “S (Age 8–10)”?

Two labels for the same youth small. Some teams use the Yth prefix, others spell out the age. Both fit roughly a 7–9 year old — confirm with the chest column, not the wording.

My child is 5'6″ — youth or adult?

Youth XL tops out around 5'6″ (168 cm). At or above that, move to an adult XS or S using the chest chart in Section 01.

Are toddler and baby sizes true to age?

They're body measurements, not garment sizes, offered for select teams only. When between two, choose the larger.

What if the product shows “Size 12” instead of S/M/L?

That's the numbered kids line: Size 8 = XS, 10 = Small, 12 = Medium, 14 = Large, 16 = XL, 18 = XXL. The printed chest (in inches) is the most reliable number — match it to the ladder above.

Do you offer youth in Big & Tall?

Big & Tall (T and B cuts) is an adult range only. For a taller teen, step into an adult XS–S with a Tall (T) cut rather than youth.

My child is slim / broad for their age — what then?

Age is a starting point, not a verdict. A slim child can take the size below their age in a fitted cut (soccer, NBA); a broad-chested child should stay true or size up, especially in NFL/NHL. Always confirm with the chest column.

10Shorts

Elastic waist / drawstring

Our basketball, soccer and training shorts follow international athletic-wear standards, sized by waist measurement. Most styles have an elastic waist with drawstring, so each size covers a comfortable range — match your waist and don't overthink it.

Men's Shorts

Size	Waist (in)	Waist (cm)	Hip (in)	Hip (cm)	Shorts Length (in)	Length (cm)
S	29–32	74–81	35–37.5	89–95	18–19	46–48
M	32–35	81–89	37.5–41	95–104	19–20	48–51
L	35–38	89–97	41–44	104–112	20–21	51–53
XL	38–43	97–109	44–48	112–122	21–22	53–56
2XL	43–47	109–119	48–52	122–132	22–23	56–58
3XL	47–52	119–132	52–56	132–142	23–24	58–61

Length shown is outseam (waistband to hem). Basketball shorts run longer (9–11" inseam); soccer shorts run shorter (5–7" inseam) with a slimmer cut — for soccer shorts, size up if you're between sizes.

Women's Shorts

Size	Waist (in)	Waist (cm)	Hip (in)	Hip (cm)	US Size
XS	24–25	61–64	33–34.5	84–88	2–4
S	25–27	64–69	34.5–36.5	88–93	4–6
M	27–30	69–76	36.5–39	93–99	8–10
L	30–33	76–84	39–41.5	99–105	12–14
XL	33–37	84–94	41.5–44.5	105–113	16–18
2XL	37–41	94–104	44.5–47.5	113–121	20–22

Women's shorts are cut with a shorter rise and slightly slimmer thigh than men's. Prefer a longer, looser fit? Order a men's small instead.

Youth Shorts

Youth shorts follow the general youth chart in Section 9 — match the child's waist or weight to the same youth S / M / L / XL as jerseys.

11Jackets & Hoodies

Layer-friendly fit

Bomber jackets, track jackets, windbreakers and hoodies are cut to international standard outerwear sizing — roomy enough to layer over a jersey or t-shirt. If you plan to wear yours over a hoodie in winter, go one size up.

Men's Jackets & Hoodies

Size	Chest (in)	Chest (cm)	Waist (in)	Length (in)	Length (cm)	Sleeve (in)
S	35–38	89–97	29–32	26–27	66–69	33.5
M	38–41	97–104	32–35	27–28	69–71	34.5
L	41–44	104–112	35–38	28–29	71–74	35.5
XL	44–48	112–122	38–43	29–30	74–76	36.5
2XL	48–53	122–135	43–48	30–31	76–79	37.5
3XL	53–58	135–147	48–53	31–32	79–81	38.5

Sleeve is measured from the center back of the collar to the cuff (standard outerwear method), so it runs longer than the shoulder-to-wrist measurement used for jerseys.

Women's Jackets & Hoodies

Size	Chest (in)	Chest (cm)	Waist (in)	Length (in)	Length (cm)
XS	31–33	79–84	25–26	23–24	58–61

2XL	44–47	112–119	37–40	28–29	71–74

Cropped jacket styles run 2–3" shorter than shown. Product pages will note when a style is cropped or oversized.

Youth Jackets & Hoodies

Youth jackets and hoodies follow the general youth chart in Section 9 by age and height.

12Pants, Joggers & Track Pants

Drawstring waist

Track pants and joggers are sized by waist with a drawstring closure, so each size adjusts comfortably. Match your waist first; then check inseam for length. Regular inseam fits heights from 5'6" to 6'1" (168–185 cm).

Men's Pants

Size	Waist (in)	Waist (cm)	Hip (in)	Hip (cm)	Inseam (in)	Inseam (cm)

14Sizing FAQ

Do your jerseys run big or small?

Each league follows its traditional cut: soccer is slim, NBA is standard, NFL and MLB are roomy, NHL is the loosest. Match your chest measurement to the chart for your league and you'll get the intended fit. If you're ordering across leagues for the first time, check the Quick Size Finder in Section 3 — the same body often wears a different size in different leagues.

I'm between two sizes — which should I pick?

Size up. Jerseys are casual wear designed to be worn relaxed; a half-size of extra room always looks better than a snug fit. The only exception is NHL hockey jerseys — they already run very loose, so stay at your true size.

Should I buy men's or women's jerseys?

Women's jerseys have a tapered, contoured cut through the waist; men's jerseys are cut straight and boxy. Many fans prefer the men's fit for the classic oversized look — that's a style choice, not a sizing error. Women ordering a men's cut should typically go one size down from their women's size.

Youth XL or men's S — which one for a teenager?

Youth XL fits up to about 5'6" (168 cm) and a 34–36" chest. Above that, move to a men's S — it's cut longer in the body and sleeves.

Do I wear the same size in jerseys, shorts and jackets?

Usually close, but not always. Jerseys and jackets are sized by chest; shorts and pants are sized by waist and hip — many fans wear a jersey L but a shorts M. Always check the chart for the product type you're ordering rather than reusing your jersey size across categories.

What if the size still isn't right?

No problem. Every order is covered by our 30-Day Returns policy — swap for a different size and we'll make it right. Questions before you order? Email fanservice2026@outlook.com with your chest measurement and the item you're eyeing, and our team will recommend a size within 24–48 hours. Men's Classic Black VCU Rams Spirit Hockey Jersey

If you only add one VCU Rams jersey this year, make it this black jersey. It is the version most supporters land on first: lightweight polyester, a tidy long sleeve cut, and a black tone that matches the rest of the range.

Sizing is listed on this page, so the decision does not need a second opinion.

The Black VCU Rams Jersey to Start With

Polyester Build

Smooth polyester construction that dries quickly, resists creasing and stays comfortable through a long day of wear.

Folds Down Small

It folds flat into a bag, which means it travels to road games and weekend trips without taking up real space.

Reliable Fit

A relaxed cut that sits where it should, with enough room through the chest to layer over a t-shirt.

Arena-Ready Weight

Light enough to wear indoors for a full game without overheating, which is most of the battle at a hockey night.

Why This Is the VCU Rams Jersey to Start With

Most people buying their first VCU Rams jersey want one that fits easily, reads clearly and does not need special care. This black jersey does all three, which is why it is the version to order rather than deliberate over.

The black colourway is the one supporters recognise instantly, the relaxed cut suits more body types than a slim build, and the lightweight polyester fabric works from the tailgate to the drive home. Nothing here needs a second opinion.

black colourway supporters recognise at a glance
relaxed cut that forgives an imperfect size guess
Lightweight build that works for game day and everyday
Sizing listed clearly on this page before you order

How Supporters Wear It

Put it on with jeans and boots for a cold game, or shorts and sneakers when the season opens in the heat. The cut works either way.

Fit, Sizing and Ordering Notes

Version note: this is the build made for VCU Rams supporters rather than an on-field playing jersey. It uses the same black palette in a lighter, everyday construction - easy to wear, easy to wash, easy to layer.

Wear and care: machine wash inside out in cold water, mild detergent, no fabric softener, no hot dryer. Air dry flat and the shape and colour hold through a full season of weekly wear.

Buying Questions, Answered

What if it does not fit?

Returns and exchanges follow the store policy listed on this page. Keep the jersey unworn with the tags attached and start the request within the stated window.

Is the print going to crack or peel?

The VCU Rams graphics are set into the fabric rather than laid on as a heavy raised layer, so there is nothing to crack or lift. Wash it inside out and avoid a hot dryer and it will stay sharp.

Is this suitable for kids?

Youth, kids and toddler sizes are available on many builds in the same black design, so the whole family can match. Check the size chart by height as well as chest when ordering for a growing child.

Does this fit the same as other fan jerseys?

It follows standard fan jersey measurements, so if you know your size in other supporter jerseys, the same size should work here. The black VCU Rams design is cut consistently across the size range.

Choose your size and check out: the black VCU Rams jersey is in stock in the sizes listed on this page.
