How to
07Reading a jersey title
Product titles are long because they carry the player, the team, the build and the cut. Here is what each part means.
How to read a jersey title
| Part of the title | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Elly De La Cruz | The player whose name and number are on the back. |
| Cincinnati Reds | The club. Every club has its own collection page. |
| Home / Road / Alternate | Which of the club’s kits the jersey is. |
| City Connect | The city-specific design programme, not a road jersey. |
| Retired player | A former player, listed under the classic programme. |
| Custom | Styles you personalise with your own name and number. |
Fit
08How MLB jerseys are cut
Full and button-front — and it is worth knowing before you order, because the same size letter means something different in each of the six leagues.
The cut
The traditional baseball cut runs fuller through the body than a soccer or basketball shirt, with a button-front placket on most designs and a shape that has barely changed in decades.
Your t-shirt size
Most people take the same size they wear in a regular t-shirt. The cut is forgiving, so there is rarely a reason to size up.
How it compares
Fuller through the body than basketball and soccer, and more structured at the front than any other league.
Sizing
09MLB sizing, measured
Baseball is the most forgiving cut of the six leagues — fuller through the body, button-front, hem at the hip. Most buyers simply take their normal t-shirt size.
| Your chest | MLB size |
|---|---|
| 33–35" | S |
| 35–37" | S–M |
| 37–40" | M |
| 40–43" | L |
| 43–47" | XL |
| 47–51" | 2XL |
| 51–55" | 3XL |
| 55"+ | 3XL |
Chest figures are body measurements, not garment measurements, and match the quick finder on our size guide. Between two sizes? Take the larger one.
| Size | Chest (in) | Chest (cm) | Length (in) | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 36–38 | 91–97 | 28 | 17.5" |
| M | 38–41 | 97–104 | 29 | 18.5" |
| L | 41–44 | 104–112 | 30 | 19.5" |
| XL | 44–48 | 112–122 | 31 | 20.5" |
| 2XL | 48–52 | 122–132 | 32 | 21.5" |
| 3XL | 52–56 | 132–142 | 33 | 22.5" |
Sizes run S–3XL in men’s, S–2XL in women’s.
The cut
Traditional baseball shape: relaxed through the chest, straight body, placket down the front and a hem that sits rather than clings.
Two numbers decide it
Chest first, every time. Waist and hip only matter once you move on to shorts, joggers or track pants — jerseys hang from the chest and shoulders.
Free size check before dispatch
Order the size you think fits, then send your height, chest and waist to fanservice2026@outlook.com. We measure against the shirt before it ships and send the size that actually fits instead.
Custom
10Names and numbers
Home, road, alternate and City Connect designs all accept a name and number, including retired greats and current roster players. Printing is applied to order, so a personalised shirt is made for you alone and takes longer to leave the warehouse than a plain one.
Pick the shirt
Choose the team, the colourway and the build you want. Every build we carry accepts printing.
Type the name and number
Your own name, a family name or a player from any era. Check the spelling before you pay — we print exactly what you send.
We print it to order
The name and number are applied after you order, then the shirt is packed and dispatched. Allow extra time on top of normal delivery.
Check the spelling twice
Personalised shirts are printed from your text. An error in the name or number is not a fault in the shirt, so read it back once before you complete the order.
Sizing comes first
Custom shirts are final sale, so lock the size down before the printing is applied. Send us your measurements and we will confirm the size for you.
FAQ
11MLB questions
Do you carry all 30 clubs?
Yes — every club has its own collection page, linked from the grid above, with the live count of styles in stock shown underneath each one.
When does the next MLB season start?
Opening Night is March 24, 2027, with the remaining clubs opening on March 25. Jerseys are in stock now, well ahead of it.
What is the difference between home, road and alternate?
They are the club’s different on-field kits: home is what they wear at their own ballpark, road is the away colourway, and alternate is a second look used through the season. The design is named in every product title.
What is a City Connect jersey?
A design programme built around the city rather than the club’s standard colours. It is named "City Connect" in the title.
Can I get a custom name and number?
Yes, on the styles listed as custom — those carry "Custom" in the title. Everything else ships as the player version.
Are women’s and youth sizes available?
Yes. Women’s is a large part of the collection, and youth, big & tall and custom cuts are all listed. The size guide has the measurements.
Shipping and returns?
Free shipping over $68, and 30-day returns on unused items with the tags attached.
Questions before ordering?
Email fanservice2026@outlook.com — we reply within 24–48 hours.
Which size should a first-time buyer order?
Take the size you wear in a normal t-shirt. The baseball cut is forgiving, so sizing up is rarely needed — and if you are between two sizes, our free pre-dispatch size check will confirm it for you.
How should I wash a button-front jersey?
Cold, inside out, buttoned up, on a gentle cycle. Buttoning the placket stops it twisting in the drum, and drying flat keeps the front edge straight.
Service
12Delivery, tracking and returns
Everything that happens after you pay, in one place — so you know when the shirt lands and what to do if it does not fit.
| What | The detail |
|---|---|
| Free shipping | Every order of $68 and over ships free, worldwide. Under $68 a flat rate applies per order — not per item, because multiple shirts ship together. |
| Dispatch | Packed and sent from our warehouse. Weekend and public-holiday orders begin processing the next business day. |
| Custom orders | Personalised shirts take longer, because the name and number are applied to order. Current lead times are on the shipping page. |
| Tracking | A tracking reference is emailed the moment your parcel is dispatched. The first carrier scan can take a little while to appear. |
| Returns | 30 days from delivery. Unworn, unwashed, tags on. Custom shirts are final sale. |
| Refunds | Inspected on arrival, then refunded to the original payment method. Allow 3–7 business days for the refund to be issued once the parcel is back with us. |
| Duties and customs | Orders shipped outside the United States may attract import duty or VAT charged by your own authority. We declare parcels at their true value and cannot mark an order as a gift. |
Need it for a date?
Tell us the match day before you order and we will say honestly whether an MLB shirt can arrive in time — rather than let you find out afterwards.
Wrong size, not wrong shirt
Exchanges are the common case here. Email your order number and the size you want instead, and we reply within 24–48 hours with the return address.
Damaged or misprinted
If a shirt arrives marked, misprinted or the wrong item entirely, return shipping is on us. Send a photo with your order number and we will sort it.
Care
13Keeping an MLB shirt looking new
A button-front shirt has more seams to look after than a pullover. The placket, the crest and any pinstripes all behave differently in a hot wash. Six habits and a shirt will still look like the day it arrived in five years.
Wash cold, inside out
Thirty degrees or cooler, with the shirt turned inside out so the printed panels never rub against the drum or against other washing. Turn the sleeves in too.
No fabric softener, no bleach
Softener leaves a film that lifts print edges over time, and bleach attacks colour in a way that cannot be reversed. A normal detergent is all the shirt needs.
Never iron the number or the crest
Direct heat is what removes heat-applied print. If the shirt needs pressing at all, do it inside out on the lowest setting, and keep the iron well away from every printed panel.
Skip the tumble dryer
Heat and tumbling are the two things printed sportswear dislikes most. Hang it or lay it flat instead — the shirt keeps its shape and the print keeps its edge.
Keep it out of dry cleaning
Solvent cleaning is hard on printed panels and on the trim. A cold home wash does everything an MLB shirt actually needs.
Store it folded, or on a wide hanger
Thin wire hangers stretch the shoulders. Fold flat, or use a wide wooden hanger — and keep shirts out of direct sunlight if they hang for months at a time.
Looked after this way, a shirt survives far more than one season of wear. And if a print does fail on a shirt that has been treated properly, tell us — we would rather know.
Not sure which one?
Tell us the player, the team and the size and we will point you at the right build.

Buying for someone else
Most MLB jerseys bought here are gifts. Three ways people order them, and the one thing that matters in each case.
For the lifelong fan
Home, road, alternate and city connect — a full set across a season.
For the postseason buyer
Playoff and World Series colourways are the ones that stay relevant longest.
For the new-customer gift
Player name and number, and it arrives before Opening Night.
MLB questions, answered
Timing and stock, rather than the sizing and shipping questions the buying FAQ above already covers.
Timing When is the best time to buy a jersey?
The postseason is now, and postseason colourways stay in demand long after the final out — a World Series jersey is a safe buy for someone hard to size up. For 2027, Opening Night is 24 March 2027, the earliest traditional Opening Day in league history.
Choosing Home, road, alternate or city connect — which is which?
Home is the club's primary colourway and the most common order. Road is the away shirt. Alternate is a second on-field look used through the season. City Connect is the city-specific design programme and the most distinctive of the four.
Stock The players in section 17 — will they still be the busiest in 2027?
Not necessarily. Roster moves over the winter, and the grid is a current stock signal. If you are buying for next season, a colourway is a safer bet than a specific player.
Coverage Is 2027 the earliest Opening Day ever?
Opening Night on 24 March 2027 is a standalone game on Netflix, and 25 March is the earliest traditional Opening Day in league history with 14 games — earlier than any season before it.
Timing Should I wait for Opening Day to buy?
There is no sale attached to Opening Day. Buying earlier gets you the size you want; the colourways are the same either way.
Anything not covered here, email fanservice2026@outlook.com — sizing questions get an answer fastest, and we will tell you plainly if a date is not going to work.

Getting the size right the first time
Four measurements, taken in this order. Chest decides it; the rest only confirm. Most sizing returns trace back to skipping the first one.
-
01
Chest
Around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level and not pulled tight.
This is the measurement that decides the size. Everything else only confirms it. -
02
Length
From the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
Cuts differ here more than anywhere else — that is the whole difference between a men's and a big & tall garment. -
03
Shoulder
Across the top of one shoulder to the other.
If this is more than a centimetre over your usual measurement you want the next size up. -
04
Waist
Around the natural waist, where the body is narrowest.
Only matters on women's and youth cuts. If it is more than 2–3 cm out, size down.
Between two sizes on a baseball jersey
Baseball fits run generous through the body. If both are within the stated chest range, take the smaller — the room is already in the garment.
Unused items with the tags attached can go back within 30 days — but getting it right first time is faster than doing that.
